My First Post
This is a dedication to Little Bear, who we lost awhile ago. She was the toughest, sweetest, and most dedicated dog I've ever known!She came into my life at the same time my husband-to-be came into my life! Oh, the memories she gave us! She was what's called a "Smooth Chow", with a heart bigger than Texas! Have you ever had someone you could count on ...... no matter what? Well, my husband is that for me, but Little Bear was that too. Just a look from her eyes let me know I was loved ..... unconditionally!
My hope and prayer is that for any dog out there, to be loved at least half as much as we loved Little Bear! Treasure each and every day you have with your best friend, because they value you more than you'll ever know! Each time I hear of a dog being hurt, it breaks my heart.
Recently, a completely uncaring person put his two dogs in the bathroom ...... and went on vacation for two weeks. He's still "on the run" or something, but luckily someone reported the barks of this little 8-week-old puppy, and now she's going to live. The other puppy in the bathroom died, though. I'm sure it was a horrible death. How dare someone act so uncaring????? I am a very forgiving person, but when I hear reports like that, I wish there were truly "just" penalties that could be leavied against such people!
So, for anyone stopping by, your assignment is to love your animals, watch out for any you know of, and please pray that all eyes are opened, and hearts are softened towards those who give their all for their "people"!
